Sorry I have been away for so long. We have been gearing up to start school. We were supposed to start school after Labor Day, but the school room was a mess and nowhere near ready to use. After much cleaning, organizing and throwing away of trash, we are now ready to start school on Monday.
The girls are very excited...they have new desks this year. A friend of mine that is starting homeschooling this year found 11 desks for only $20 a piece!!!!! I don't have to tell you that 4 families jumped on the chance to purchase them and our family is now the proud owner of 4 Virco student desks. We will now be paying more for the chairs than we did for the desks. Hee Hee That's OK....God was gracious in supplying our desks and I am confident He will give us wisdom in finding chairs.
This is going to be a busy weekend for us. We have some family coming to visit for the weekend, first soccer games of the season for my 1st and 3rd arrows, church (of course) and we start teaching 3rd-4th grade Sunday school. Whew, I'm tired already from the week....I could use a nap today, but I know that won't happen. I was able to get some good rest last night. My son finally slept for 4-5 hour stretches. I just wish he would sleep all night! Oh well, that's another post for another day.

Yea for the desks! We got some for the two olders in their rooms. They don't use them much though, particularily my ADD girl. But we don't have the space for them anywhere else. We had our outdoor service yesterday to kick off our year. Except that it rained and we had to move all the wet table and chairs into the gym. But the bouncers stayed up for the kids. I wish you well on the start of your new school year. BTW, my little one is sleeping better, but I end up bringing her to bed with me between 4 and 5 because I need the sleep and she sleeps better with me. I would've never done that with the others. But I do now! Blessings.
